Classification Name of Course Educational Goal
1st Semester Shop Drawing &
Structural Drawing
Based on the design book, this course cultivates the ability to understand structural drawings necessary in the construction site and create a working drawing.
Practice of Building
Code application
This course cultivates the ability to apply the building code necessary in architectural design by analyzing the cases of building code that had been applied to the existing building based on the design drawing.
Construction Information
Management
This course cultivates the ability to gather construction information necessary for the process from architectural design to construction and the ability to systematically classify & manage the information.
Project Planning & Management This course cultivates the ability to acquire knowledge necessary in planning, progress, management, evaluation of the construction project and the ability to conduct work throughout the construction project through the analysis of project cases.
New Technology
in Architecture
This course conducts lectures on the introduction of new technologies that are applied to the entire field of construction & examples of application in a form of seminar. The subjects are mainly new structural system, construction method, etc. Through these lectures, this course cultivates the ability to apply the technologies to the site.
2nd Semester Project 1
(Architectural Design)
This course studies cases which applied current law & execution drawing through an existing architectural project and also cultivates the ability to fully understand the drawing & freely apply laws as a field engineer.
Project 2
(Construction Technique)
This course cultivates the ability to understand all techniques related to construction management (process management, cost management, safety management, quality management, etc.) through the existing architectural project.
Project 3
(Structural System)
This course cultivates the ability to understand how the structure field is applied and used in the implementation of structure by analyzing & interpreting in terms of structure through the existing architectural project.
Project 4
(Architectural Environment)
This course cultivates the ability to analyze the architectural environment (sunshine, noise, energy, etc.) factors-applied aspects and acquire application techniques necessary in new architectural design through the existing architectural project.
Project 5
(Remodeling)
This course teaches students to conduct a precise diagnosis of the existing architecture to avoid reconstruction. Also, it teaches the techniques to design & construct remodeling of building that can meet the performance criteria of a new architecture using the existing project.
