Recently, various chipset design technologies are being suggested due to the rapid development of the integrated circuit design environment. Thus, this course makes a firm concept & accessibility to chipset design technologies. Also, to double the practical literacy in the application field, this course conducts an actual design project on the analog & digital chipset design & mixed chipset design and confirms the design ability of special & general purpose. It conducts design operation & verification of the chipset that is implemented by using various target boards.

This course cultivates the ability to do wireless controls of various sensors such as illumination, gas, temperature, etc. using AVR microprocessor, the ability to conduct wireless integration of home electronic devices, the technology to conduct wireless control to a sensor in whatever location, the ability to control the above using wireless devices (cell phone, ODA) or computer from the outside by performing network concept understanding & practice through sensor nodes and ZeeBee communication.

This course educates the theory on digital signal processing such as the relationship between continuous & discrete signals, analysis of digital signals in the time & frequency domain, finite & infinite response systems, digital filter design, fast Fourier transform algorism, etc. also, it aims to cultivate consideration ability & literacy of the application field that use DSP processor, etc. for the design & testing of the communication system which is becoming more and more digitalized.
