Academic probation

  • Students with less than 15 credits per semester or average of less than 1.0 shall be placed under academic probation.

Changes in Grades

  • If there are appropriate reasons for change due to an error or omission in the grade, the professor responsible for the error must submit an application for changing grades along with supporting documents to the office of educational affairs.
  • 01. Student : Meet with the professor after verifying grades
  • 02. Professor : Submit application forchanging grades along with supporting documents to the office of educational affairs
  • 03. Office of Educational Affairs : Amend grade after approving application
  • 04. Student : Verify grade via internet

Applying for Credit Approval

  • Subject: Transferring students, etc.
  • 01. Professor : Verify course equivalence between Daelim and the student’s former college
  • 02. Student : Submit 1 copy of official academic transcript of former college & application for credit acceptance to the office of educational affiars after receiving verification from the academic advisor & dean
  • 03. Office of Educational Affairs : Handle the matter after verifying application for credit acceptance
  • 04. Student : Verify grade via internet

Graduation

  • Required Credits for Graduation: 80 credits (120 credits for a 3-year diploma course), more than 10 credits from general education (15 credits for a 3-year diploma course), more than 64 credits from major courses (96 credits for a 3-year diploma course)
  • Teaching certification courses are exempted from the graduation credits. However, exceptions are made for the Department of early childhood education.
  • General education & major requirements must be fulfilled.
