Academic Scholarship Freshmen Su-am Scholarship 1. Students who were accepted through early or regular admission and ranked 1st in each admission period.
2. Students who obtained 15 credits or more without having failing courses in immediately preceding semester and maintained Avg. GPA of 4.0 or higher
Freshmen admission fee and tuition will be waived
Outstanding Freshmen Scholarship Students who were accepted through early or regular admission and ranked 1st in each admission period / department. Tuition of the 1st semester of the freshman year will be waived.
Enrolled student Academic
A, B, C
1. Students who are recommended by the dean of department (Within the department’s scholarship budget)
2. Students who obtained 15 credits or more without having failing courses in immediately preceding semester and maintained Avg. GPA of 3.0 or higher.
A : Full tuition fee will be waived.
B : 50% of tuition will be waived.
C : 30% of tuition will be waived.
Academic D 1. Students who work as a president of student body or enrolled in bachelors degree course or in Industry-entrusted courses and recommended by the dean of department(within the department’s scholarship budget)
2. Students who obtained 15 credits or more without having failing courses in preceding semester and maintained Avg. GPA of 3.0 or higher. (For bachelors degree program, obtained 12 credit or more in preceding semester and maintained Avg. GPA of 3.0 or higher.)
D: 20% of tuition will be waived.

1. International students who are recommended by the director of Global Affairs & Education Institute (within the assigned scholarship budget)
2. Students who obtained 15 credits or more without having failing courses in immediately preceding semester and obtained minimum GPA requirement for each category (Academic A: Avg. GPA 4.0 or higher, Academic B: GPA 3.0~3.9, Grade C: GPA 2.0~2.9)
A : Full tuition will be waived
B : 50% of tuition will be waived
C : 30% of tuition granted
Welfare Scholarship School Welfare Scholarship 1. Students whose family are regarded to be in low income ranges based on the national scholarship guidelines.
2. Students who earned GPA of 2.6 or higher in the immediately preceding semester(For freshmen, there is no GPA requirement/For disabled student, average GPA of 1.6 or higher is required)
Scholarship will be rewarded based on the income ranges
Daelim Nanum Scholarship A 1. Students who submit the certificate of disability issued in accordance with Welfare of Disabled persons Act
2. Students whose disability degree is in between 1~ 4 and family income bracket is within 5 and have GPA of 1.6 or higher in the immediately preceding semester
50% of tuition granted
Daelim Nanum Scholarship B 1. Students who submit the certificate of disability issued in accordance with Welfare of Disabled persons Act
2. Students whose disability degree is between 5~6 and whose family income bracket is within 5 and have GPA of 1.6 or higher in the immediately preceding semester
30% of tuition granted
Student Volunteer Scholarship Student Volunteer A 1. Students who serve as either a president of student council or a delegate chairperson.
2. Students who earned GPA of 2.6 or higher in the immediately preceding semester(No minimum GPA is required for the freshmen)
Full tuition fee will be waived
Student Volunteer B 1. Students who serve as a president of student council or an editor in chief of the school newspaper or a chairperson at school broadcasting station.
2. Students who earned GPA of 2.6 or higher in the immediately preceding semester(No minimum GPA is required for the freshmen)
50% of tuition fee will be waived
Student Volunteer C 1. Students who serve as a member of student council or a vice chief at school newspaper office or school broadcasting station.
2. Students who earned GPA of 2.6 or higher in the immediately preceding semester(No minimum GPA is required for the freshmen)
30% of tuition granted (Extra grants will be given to the members of student council)
1. Students who serve as a class chairperson or a member of student councils of academic department(planning/managing team), or a member of choirs.
2. Students who earned GPA of 2.6 or higher in the immediately preceding semester(No minimum GPA is required for the freshmen)
10% of tuition granted(20% for Students who serve as a class chairperson)
1. Students who work as student honorary ambassador
2. Students who earned GPA of 2.6 or higher in the immediately preceding semester(No minimum GPA is required for the freshmen)

Labor Scholarship School Labor 1. Students who work at the designated department of school.
2. Students with average GPA of 1.6 or higher in immediately preceding semester (not applicable to freshmen)
Paid monthly bases
Special scholarship Veteran Family Scholarship 1. Children of patriots & veterans or men of national merit or students defected from North Korea who have submitted the certificate of tuition fee exemption issued by related departments
2. The qualification and exemption ranges shall be determined by related laws (Average GPA of 1.6 or higher)
Full amount of tuition and admission fee will be waived (from government and school budget)
Daelim Family Scholarship 1. Faculty members and their direct families (including children or spouse) who are currently working at Daelim Hagwon and have average GPA of 2.6 or higher in the immediately preceding semester (not applicable to freshmen)
2. "Faculty member" does not include: Affiliated professors, part-time instructors, honorary professors, unlimited-term contractors from Anyang women’s middle-high school, and short-term teachers
3. Applicable persons should be confirmed to work at Daelim Hagwon whole time while enrolled in school.
Full amount of tuition and admission fee will be waived
Diligence in Learning Diligence A

Freshmen enrolled in bachelor's degree courses (intensive major course) 30% of tuition fee will be waived (Admission fee will be additionally waived for the Freshmen graduated from Daelim UC)

Transferred students who had graduated from Daelim University College Freshmen admission fee will be waived
Daelim Sarang Scholarship 1. Students with more than 2 direct family members (including brother, sister, and spouse) are currently enrolled at our college OR students with both parents are Daelim University College alumni
. Students who have average GPA 2.6 or higher in the immediately preceding semester
KRW 500,000 granted
Daelim Multi-culture Scholarship 1. Students who are confirmed to be from multi-cultural family in accordance with the Article 2 of“Multi-cultural families Act“ and submitted the related documents
2. Student should have average GPA of 2.6 or higher in the immediately preceding semester (not applicable to freshmen)

GLOBAL Foreign Language Scholarship Follow the guideline set by “Global Affairs & Education Institute” Granted upon approval by the president
BeAce Scholarship Follow the guideline set by “Employment Support Division” Granted upon approval by the president
Special scholarship Students whose need for support is specially acknowledged by the president Granted upon approval by the president
Scholarship from the scholarship Committee Specific support for the underprivileged class of people such as low-income family and children of multi-cultural family. Granted upon approval by the president
  • Note
    • 1. Outside scholarship including government’s supplementary scholarship will be awarded based on the policy of the corresponding department.
    • 2. Dural Scholarship for a single beneficiary are not allowed except for the following cases:
      • ① Working students scholarship / Academic D Scholarship / Student Volunteer scholarships / Daelim Nanum Scholarship / Daelim Multi-culture Scholarship
      • ② Specific donation scholarship (Project from outside school, etc) / Other cases acknowledged by the scholarship committee or approved by the president.
    • 3. (To prevent underpayment) The minimum scholarship shall be KRW 100,000 per each category.
    • 4. In case students drop out school or being expelled from school after receiving scholarship, recipients may be asked to return the amount of scholarship.
    • 5. Scholarship will be paid by 1,000won unit base (100won will be disregarded)
    • 6. Students who have been suspended from graduation will be excluded from the candidates of scholarship recipients.

Hee-mang Sadari (Hope Ladder) National Scholarship Students with more than 12 credits and whose average is higher than 70/100 (1.6/4.5) in the last year
Application to be made by students - recommended within the assigned limit, for full tuition support and certain amount of employment encouragement grant
Recipients are supposed to be on-the-job trainees and who work for a term equivalent to the scholarship period for SMB.
Korea Student Aid Foundation
National Labor Scholarship Monthly scholarship for students working for the designated agency in order to promote stable learning conditions and improve the job-finding capacity of low-income students Korea Student Aid Foundation

  • National scholarship from the Korea Student Aid Foundation (www.kosaf.go.kr) is to be applied for in accordance with its own policy and shall be screened accordingly for qualification, etc.
  • Grade threshold means immediately preceding semester and includes F grade.
  • Please contact the staff in charge of scholarship at the Students' Comprehensive Service Center (031-467-4721).

Procedures for providing External Scholarship

  • 01. Scholarship donating organizations such as the finacial aid, etc. will request for recommendations on scholarship stutents
  • 02. The office will request for recommendations to related department on scholarship students, or will make a notice on the website
  • 03. Department will recommend & apply along with document or student will apply directly
  • 04. OThe office will make a recommendation to the charitable trust after checking reasons for disqualification, etc.
  • 05. The charitable trust will notify scholarship student confirmation & deposit scholarship money
  • 06. College will provide scholarship
