1st semester Shop Drawing &Structural Drawing Based on a major design book, this class aims to cultivate the students’ ability to understand structural drawings for construction sites and to create construction drawings.
Practice of Building Code application This class is designed to cultivate the students’ ability to apply the building code required in the architectural design sector by analyzing cases in which the building code is applied to an existing building based on the design drawing.
Construction Information Management This class aims to cultivate students’ ability to gather construction information required for architectural design and construction and the ability to systematically classify and manage construction information.
Project Planning & Management This class aims to cultivate the students’ ability to acquire knowledge in planning, progress, management, evaluation of a construction project, and the ability to conduct work throughout a construction project based on the analysis of project cases.
New Technology in Architecture This class consists of lectures on the introduction of new technologies to the entire construction field, and examples of their application (in the form of a seminar). The teaching contents are mainly related to new structural systems and new construction methods, etc. Through these lectures, the class aims to cultivate students’ ability to apply these technologies to the site.
2st semester Project1(Architectural Design) Students will study cases in which current laws are applied, and understand design drawings through existing architectural projects and cultivate their ability to fully understand such drawings and freely apply laws as a field engineer.
Project3(Construction Technique) This class aims to cultivate the students’ ability to understand all techniques related to construction management (process management, cost management, safety management, quality management, etc.) through the existing architectural projects.
Project3(Structural System) This class aims to cultivate the students’ ability to understand how the structuresare applied and used in the construction of buildings by analyzing and interpreting them in terms of structure via existing architectural projects.
Project4(Architectural Environment) This class aims to cultivate the students’ ability to analyze the architectural environment (sunshine, noise, energy, etc.) and learn application techniques used in new architectural design through existing architectural projects.
Project5(Remodeling) This class teaches students how to avoid the need for reconstruction by conducting a precise diagnosis of an existing architecture. It also consists of field-oriented practical education on techniques of designing and remodeling a building to meet the performance criteria for a new architecture using existing projects.
