In order to cultivate experts in the aviation service field, which is the most promising field in the global era, this course is focused on theory and practical education in the aviation service field. The curriculum reflecting the latest trends in the aviation service sector is composed of aviation practice and theory, foreign languages, and international manners, with the opinions of related industries fully integrated.
In addition, through industry-academia cooperation agreements with various airline and ground service industries, we are closely cooperating with airlines and airport job-related industries. Through careful guidance from faculty members with aviation careers and those in charge of global language skills, as well as special lectures by industry professionals, and job competency enhancement, this course provides appropriate education for talents required by the aviation tourism industry.

1 Tourism Consumer Behavior This course presents the principles and marketing practices of tourist behavior to air service majors, to effectively deliver the knowledge about tourist behavior as well as the psychology and fundamental theories validated by consumer behavior researchers to more easily understand individual behavior and apply them in practice.
2 Air Transport Management This course analyzes the recent development direction of the air transport industry and studies various airlines that are leaping forward in the industry with fierce competition. In addition, this course aims to cultivate air transport practices based on the knowledge about various organizations and regulations of the global transport industry.
3 Intensive TOEIC 1 This course prepares students to become aviation experts by acquiring high scores in the TOEIC test, which evaluates the practical English communication skills needed to live or do business in the international environment, of those whose mother tongue is not English.
4 TOEIC Speaking 1 Airlines give an extra credit to the talent with high levels in the TOEIC Speaking test. This course helps students to increase their levels in the test to help get a gob at an airline company.
5 JLPT 1 Many Japanese customers travel by air, so many airlines are looking for talented people who are fluent in Japanese. This course is a Japanese language course to help students acquire the language qualifications.
6 Service Communication By understanding the basic theory of service and grasping the successes and failures in the service field provided by domestic and international airlines, the competitiveness of aviation service workers is cultivated by improving service problems and capabilities to address them.
7 Intensive TOEIC 2 This is an upgraded course of advanced TOEIC 1. This course allows students to prepare to get higher scores in the TOEIC test which evaluates practical English communication skills necessary to live or work in an international environment, and further to become aviation professionals by acquiring the international sense.
8 TOEIC Speaking 2 Airlines give an extra credit to talented people with high TOEIC speaking levels. This course helps students get a job at an airline company by efficiently boosting the TOEIC Speaking levels of students.
9 JLPT2 Many Japanese customers travel by air, so many airlines are looking for talented people who are fluent in Japanese. This course is a Japanese language course to help students acquire the language qualifications.
10 Customer Service Management This course educates students to have an understanding and knowledge of the customer's psychology that influences their decision-making and behavior, so that they can acquire the ability to wisely cope with and solve various problems that may arise through practice according to various cases.
11 In-Flight Food and Beverage Seminar Airlines Beverage seminars is a course for aviation majors students wishing to become airline cabin crews. This course deals with practical information about the beverage service in the airline cabin based on basic theory about Western-style drinks. This course can help acquire the knowledge about the theory of western drinks, and to better adapt to the actual beverage service work in the airline cabin. In addition, the course will cover in detail the food from western to Asian and from other regions, and beverage service procedures and airline catering services procedures and types, and characteristics of alcoholic beverages and non-alcoholic beverages.
12 Airport Service Seminar To develop talent that can organize and manage all the tasks required by the airline business, this course not only covers the work of ground staffs and cabin crews but also sales and security work. This course cultivates the individual service manners, both soft and hard, and the ability to utilize all thee equipment used by the airline company.
13 TOEIC Speaking 3 This course cultivates advanced English-speaking skills to help students accurately express their opinions in refined English. Students can boost their TOEIC Speaking levels to better get a job at an airline company.
14 Global Service Manner This course allows students to have a strong sense of work ethics like international manners and service-oriented mindset as a cabin crew so that they can acquire service manners to faithfully perform their work, establish a sense of work ethics, and obtain basic etiquettes like attitude and behavior to properly serve customers.
15 Chinese 1 Many Chinese customers travel by air, so many airlines are looking for talent who are fluent in Chinese. Students can acquire the Chinese language qualifications through the language class in the advanced major course.
16 Communication Seminar Rational problem-solving skills through a healthy way of thinking, effective decision-making capabilities and seamless communication skills are essential components for living in the modern society. In particular, the ability to break down the firmly stood barriers and communicate across disciplines in the mist of the flood of rapidly changing information is important more than anything today, and the ability to think and write is being emphasized in the aviation industry. In this regard, this course can help students navigate their career path and understand the meanings of such abilities.
17 Airline Services Seminar This course allows students to learn aviation service practices based on accurate and up-to-date information on aviation service. Students can familiarize themselves with the necessary critical content and processes necessary to enter the air service industry.
18 Chinese 2 The Chinese language is very useful in air travel. So this course aims to develop advanced Chinese language skills required for aviation professionals, and to get used to the Chinese culture at the same time.
19 Communication Seminar2 Fostering the ability to communicate with customers is a top priority for professionals. This course helps students to read, communicate and accept others’ views and understand customers’ needs and grasp their characteristics.
20 Cabin Crew English Practice Students learn various vocabulary and expressions that can be used in the field of airline cabin service. This course aims to develop a variety of communication skills that can provide comfortable and satisfactory services to passengers and cultivate global communication skills through situational role-play in English.
21 Airline Management Seminar Air travel management seminar course aims to nurture professionals required in all areas related to airport services and air transport as well as many ground service staffs through practical training on passenger reservation by using the airline reservation system, transportation and air cargo. In addition, this course can develop talented workers who can provide the best service to international customers through the foreign languages intensive training programs.
22 Airport Ground Service Practice Airport business practice course operates and plans all the business at the airport from departure to arrival, and manages ticketing, check-in, baggage, lounge service and other customer contact work. As the best service should be offered to customers of different nationality and age, airline workers are required of interpersonal skills, language skills, international senses, etc. Students also acquire such abilities and the problem-solving ability to promptly address abnormal flight situations.
