Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System This course focuses on the personnel management in introducing and operating an ERP system using information and communications technology in order to streamline business management and enhance accounting transparency. Students can understand the basic theory of personnel benefits, wages, insurance, severance pay, withholding tax and year-end tax settlement, etc., and apply them in practice by learning the core ERP.
Marketing Strategy Practice A new type of marketing thinking is required to conceive an effective marketing strategy, as consumers' desires for products and information are more personalized, and the media environment is also changing rapidly. In this course, students learn how to more accurately grasp the needs of consumers, and interactive techniques through an integrated marketing communication approach.
Business Statistics Practice This course explains basic methods of descriptive and inferential statistics and teaches statistical data analysis using SAS as a practical application method. Among the fields of application of statistics, especially general engineering or management science, quality control, O.R. can be taught based on statistical methods and theoretical background that can enable rational decision-making through analysis of data actually obtained in factories, laboratories, or laboratories.
Personal Finance and Investment Practice Students majoring in financial management can accurately understand the issuance and distribution of securities, which are the main functions of the stock market, and what role these functions play in industrial development and the national economy. This course focuses on investment allocation schemes, real estate investment by location according to the real estate location theory, and investment techniques according to the type of real estate, based on the asset allocation theory and the portfolio theory, to achieve real estate monetization.
Leadership Case Study As the society becomes more specialized and diversified, humans develop into “organized humans”, and in order to maintain social order and efficiency, the leadership at each level should be more specialized than Headship, charismatic individuality, or manipulation techniques. This course analyzes the direction and structural characteristics of the changes in the times in which the specialized level of, or cultural authority or the role of leadership becomes more important.
Corporate Law Case Study This course studies legal precedents from the establishment to dissolution of a company, especially a listed company, in an analytical, comparative manner and based on legislative theory.
Intermediate Accounting Practice Based on the accounting theory, students learn practical exercises and special accounting issues in financial statements such as the balance sheet, income statement, surplus appropriation statement, the statement of changes in financial position, and consolidated financial statement based on generally accepted corporate accounting standards.
Consumer Research and Analysis Practice Analyzing consumer behavior at the point of purchase is the basis for the application of marketing strategies, and customer needs are the driver for marketing activities. Therefore, understanding such needs is the cornerstone for strategy development. Students use the customer behavior analysis as a necessary information for corporate management decision-making to acquire the insights as middle-level managers that can be applied to product decision-making, advertisement, sales, store management, and pricing.
Distribution and Logistics Practice This course focuses on logistics management among the ERP systems for management rationalization and accounting transparency. It promotes the practical operation and understanding of programs on basic concepts of logistics, sales management, materials management, purchase management, trade management, etc. through the understanding and utilization of the core ERP.
Startup with Small Capital Practice This course cultivates and teaches specialized knowledge to allow students to take charge of practical work by acquiring the relevant knowledge, skills, and information so that they can start a small business with a small amount of capital or manage others’ business.
Management Decision-Making Case Study Decision-making analysis is the study of the process of selecting an optimal alternative among several options that contain uncertainty. Specifically, this course describes a method of modeling a decision tree to improve the understanding of complex decision-making issues and introduces application methods of probabilistic techniques to solve such issues.
Financial Statement Analysis Practice This course deals with corporate analysis using financial statements. It is focused on understanding and analyzing financial statements based on corporate accounting standards from the perspective of users. Specifically, students learn useful techniques for assessing corporate value through financial statements such as by analyzing cash flows and financial ratios.
Real Estate Auction Investment Practice Based on the basic theory learned in Introduction to Real Estate, this course enables students to systematically establish the knowledge about land and building management in real estate management, and to build practical management skills. Students study general and practical theories on real estate auctions and public auctions.
China Industrial Economy Practice This course looks at China's industrial policy for upgrading the country’s industrial structure and forecasts the country’s promising and leading industries in the future. This course analyzes the theory and policy of China's economic development, which began with the introduction and implementation of the planned economy and examines its drawbacks and achievements.
Service Communication This course examines the global services economy in line with the service revolution of the 21st century, the developments of the service industry that is rapidly emerging as a new growth engine for the Korean economy, and new service trends such as e-Service.
Financial Derivatives Practice This course studies the functions and characteristics of financial products, such as futures, options, and swaps, which garners renewed attention with the innovation of financial markets. The main content is about hedging and speculation techniques through forward and futures trading, and the Black-Scholes model of option pricing and its applications.
Startup Management Seminar This course is a series of analysis processes that examine the possibility of profit realization, which is the ultimate goal of a company, by developing a business idea, and producing and selling a product or service accordingly. This course deals with idea exploration and selection, market analysis, methodology, public utility analysis, and business plan implementation.
Business Value Analysis Practice Students will study the various models used in enterprise valuation and the measurement of variables used in each model. The dividend discount model, the DCF model, the residual income model, the EVA model and stock price multiple valuation techniques, etc. are included. This course particularly focuses on the valuation model using accounting variables.
Insurance Theory and Retirement Income Security Design Practice This is an introductory course on insurance which covers the concepts and types of insurance, characteristics and necessity of insurance contracts, relationship between risk management and insurance, types of insurance products and schemes, insurance management, etc. This course examines the causes of the elderly issues of the modern society, the demographic background of the elderly population, and the genetic, physiological, psychological and social theories about aging. In addition, students will learn social security and systems related to retirement such as retirement income security, medical security, retirement and employment, and housing.
Creative Management Innovation Practice Scientific management is essential to secure a competitive advantage in an increasingly fierce business environment. Based on a mathematical model based on objective data, problems in management and operation should be identified, partial optimization within the organization should be avoided, and enterprise optimization should be performed. In this course, students mainly learn how to set up a mathematical model for the issues in the field and how to solve each model.
Advanced Cost Management Accounting This course studies the extraction and management method of cost information through various methods of cost estimation. In addition, this course reviews the significance of structure and management of the new cost accounting system, such as activity-based cost, and JIT cost estimation, which are newly emerging in accordance with changes in the business environment. This course focuses on case studies on cost analysis in the workplace.
Business Environment Analysis Practice Corporate environment analysis refers to analyzing and judging the results of past management activities of a company or organization and the current situation and reflecting them in decision-making or policymaking regarding future management activities. Students learn how to use and analyze financial information on corporate profitability, productivity, liquidity, and security, and focus on predicting future financial and business performance.
Business Strategy Seminar In a situation where the business environment is getting complicated and uncertain, strategies for survival are becoming more important. In this course, students learn about the concept of strategy, the relationship between strategy and the organization, and strategic techniques.
Technology Management Recently, advanced countries have conducted the so-called fourth-generation R&D strategy aiming at market-oriented R&D. Students will learn the important policy tasks to increase R&D investment efficiency through utilization and commercialization of technological development and to link R&D investment to economic performance.
