This course aims to cultivate in-depth and professional social welfare personnel through field-oriented practical training and field-oriented job competency development for prospective social workers who majored in social welfare at junior colleges. To this end, industry-academia training in a mutual cooperation system, systematic and clinical-oriented theoretical education by professional instructors, development and evaluation of programs necessary to develop professional competence in the field, and community-oriented practical education contribute to training social welfare clinical experts.

Subject Education Contents
Social Welfare and Humanities Through a learning process that redefines and reassesses humans who were enslaved to God with culture by broadening the understanding of the humanities from a social welfare point of view, this lecture promotes the understanding of humanity in the humanities, and the science that explores the human nature.
Communication Leadership Since most of the problems encountered in the social welfare field are neither the choice of absolute good or absolute evil, this course aims to cultivate basic skills as a professional by acquiring the understanding of the common good and communication, which is the most necessary quality for the appropriate approach.
Social Welfare Customer Service Through an understanding of all service activities supported to sustain customer satisfaction, this course intends to newly illuminate the purpose of the existence of social welfare institutions, as well as efficient operation of the institution and programs.
Health Assumption Theory Through the contents of the concept of a healthy family, the ideology and philosophy of a healthy family, and the philosophy and ethics of a healthy family, students learn about the viewpoints and values that a healthy family must deal with.
Family and Culture As an approach to family life as a cultural unit, students learn about family culture, an index that enables the understanding of family life and the culture and health of society.
Theory and Practice of Counseling Psychology Students understand the concept of counseling, the main theories, counseling methods and processes, and learn the basics to equip the counselor's role and knowledge.
Social Welfare Ethics and Philosophy This course outlines the ethical conflict situations experienced in the field, and discusses ethical issues experienced when social workers directly or indirectly intervene with clients in the field of social welfare practice.
Mental Health and Social Welfare Practice Mental health and social welfare practice is a course that applies psychiatric expertise and social welfare theory and practical skills to people with or who are likely to have mental illness or disorders to restore their social functions and to ultimately improve the quality of life.
Social Welfare Supervision This course explores the concepts and functionality, and contents of supervision, to guide social workers the necessary knowledge and skills so that they can offer professional social welfare work as responsibly and with authority as senior social workers in the social welfare institutions.
Family Counseling and Treatment This lecture introduces the historical background and the development process of family counseling and family therapy to help improve family relationships, basic concepts of family counseling and the family system, and family counseling theory and techniques to apply family counseling process and application examples in practice.
Crisis Intervention and Social Welfare Practice Through a critical review of the theory of crisis, students learn how to apply the crisis intervention approach to each area of social welfare targets by comparing and examining social and problem-solving approaches, and systematic and crisis intervention approaches.
Counseling Treatment and Case Study Students understand the human view, key concepts, treatment goals and process, counseling techniques and procedures, and the pros and cons of major counseling theories and analyze counseling cases by each theory and apply the concepts and techniques in actual counseling cases to further enhance the understanding of the counseling theory.
Welfare Network Theory and Practice Students learn the necessity and background of social welfare service networks, network concepts and related theories, and cultivate the ability to apply them to local communities by comparing and analyzing the operating conditions of network construction projects.
Operation and Management of Non-profit Organizations This course examines important theories and skills related to organizational structure and management of non-profit organizations, and teaches knowledge and skills about program management, resource management, promotion and evaluation, which are the core functions of the organization.
Social Welfare Seminar This course invites social workers above the middle manager level who work in various fields of social welfare so that students can have a realistic understanding of the field and to experience various examples through seminars.
History of Social Welfare This course reviews the goals, meanings, and the concept of social welfare throughout history to promote the understanding of Korea’s social welfare system and to reorganize the identity as a social welfare worker.
School and Social Welfare Practice Students learn the academic background and practical contents of school social welfare to acquire the roles and tasks of school social workers to promote student welfare. This course specifically deals with the basic concepts about school social work, to promote the understanding of teenage students who are the main subject of school social welfare, and a variety of practice methods and evaluation methods based on theory and knowledge.
