Subject Educational Goal
Human Relations This class aims to figure out the true meaning of a human by highlighting the human nature, characteristics, tendency, basic desire, etc. in philosophical, psychological, and social position. It also covers the basic frame & role of human relationships in the position of human relations and a counseling standpoint, and aims to understand the roles of human relations such as communications, motivation, fraud management, self-realization, etc. Students will conduct research on joyful, difficult, successful, & failure cases in real situations between parents and children, husband and wife, teacher and student, senior and junior, boss and staff, etc. In addition, to improve human relations, this subject enables students to achieve self-development for the organization's goal but also aims to demonstrate students’ personality by covering theory as well as practice of in-depth understanding of each other, acceptance of individual variation, process of drawing a conclusion, process of cooperation and competition, etc.
Sports Dietetics This class aims to analyze the nutrients necessary for body development and performance enhancement, study necessary nutrients by type of exercise, and teach efficient health care methods, prevention of adult diseases, energy metabolism required for sports activities, etc.
Life Saving in Water This class educates students on knowledge on water safety and overall basis & specific structural methods on life-saving in conjunction with swimming. Also, it enables students to cultivate the ability to cope with life-saving situations and master the corresponding techniques.
Youth Physical Education Youth physical education enables students to help the children physically, mentally, and psychosocially to be joyful and purify the children's emotions through systematic and professional physical activities. It also aims to help the children to grow up to be a social leader by improving intelligence (IQ), emotion (EQ), morality (MQ) & sociality (SQ) and by inducing body growth, improvement of motor skills, cognitive development & cultivation of social skills through physical activities, and also by improving children’s endurance, physical strength, agility, and self-control.
GX Program This class aims to cultivate students’ basic and application skills to make site-applicable programs by gathering sports that can be grouped such as aerobics, jazz dance, Tae Bo, yoga, etc. and to conduct these programs as an instructor.
Practice of Computer Literacy This class aims to raise literacy of operation software & universal software programs which are widely used in the practical field. It also cultivates computerizing skills required in the modern society by increasing the Internet-related knowledge, practical understanding and use.
Practical Major Course 1 In accordance with the entrance examination of the sports department, students will enroll in one major course among the basic sports, ball & other recreational sports each semester and will increase the ability as an instructor by acquiring a more difficult skill, instructing methods, professional strength & skills, etc. Also, in the practical major where all the students gather and show a sense of unification, students will learn practical skills that have direct connection to their entry into society after graduation.
Sports Program Planning This class aims to help students to understand the role, usage and theoretical background of the sports program in the modern society and educate the basic skills to plan and conduct programs so that they can be directly applied in daily life. Also, students will learn how to develop plans and programs that satisfy customer demands and how to graft them appropriately.
Personal Training Students will learn how to analyze medical profiles and life styles and develop and instruct cultivated programs in a one-on-one state with the learner, as a form differentiated from general fitness training. Students can also learn how to sign a contract with the center as an individual business and how to provide a differentiated personal health education service.
Golf Fitting This class teaches the basic methods to produce and correct golf clubs that match the body and swinging style of the golfer. Also, as golf is a popular sport widespread to the public and demands and necessity for fitting is increasing, students will learn appropriate golf fitting techniques.
Spinning Rather than just pedaling in seats, this class aims to create various movements according to light music and cultivate students’ practical ability to balance the upper and lower body strength through the detailed movements of the upper and lower body.
Practical Major Course 2 This class aims to build professionalism as an instructor including the detailed and professional skills, etc. through sophisticated activities in conjunction with practical major course 1.
English Conversation Based on various English reading materials, this class aims to acquire more vocabulary and increase reading and communication skills. Also, through activities before reading, during reading, and activities & communication after reading, it aims to understand the details and main concept of the text provided and to cultivate general English communication skills.
Sports Biomechanics This class seeks for methods to maximize workout efficiency and sport analyzing methods for the disabled through the cases of exercise analysis, anatomical and mathematical basis which is the basic knowledge required in sports biomechanics.
Sports Taping Sports taping refers to the fixation of injured parts for increased performance. This class aims to master sports taping methods that enable players to match or practice a game or an activity for a short time.
Pilates As a typical aerobic exercise, this Pilates class is a muscle-strengthening exercise program that conducts core training of the center of the body. Students will research and study the advanced well-being exercise that pursues customized curriculums by level, part of the body, and age.
On-site Training 1 This class aims to understand characteristics of works occurred at the sports field and to increase on-site adaptability after graduation by visiting various sports-related organizations and performing field training.
Practical Major Course 3 In conjunction with practical major course 2, this class aims to build professionalism and virtues of an instructor by cultivating various practical skills and selecting professional practical field.
Modern Society & Leisure The modern society has social characteristics such as industrialization, urbanization, aging, digitization, and leisure-oriented society due to the development of scientific technology. The development of scientific technology and communication increased the individuals' amount of spare time and made life convenient, but many have not been able to spend time appropriately due to their lack of understanding in leisure culture and its utilization. Based on these characteristics, this class enables students to study the characteristics of the modern society and leisure culture and to seek for healthy ways to spend time.
Sports Facility Management In order to perform the established and operating sports facilities for the encouragement of healthy physical activities as a space for the people's physical activity, manage facilities as a space for maintaining and increasing the people's health and fitness, and play their role as a space for resident interaction, this class aims to understand the overall sports facility management and master the practical administrative management methods.
Sports Medicine This class is designed to broaden students’ overall understanding of insurance, insurance contract law, theory of car insurance, and the significance and functions of insurance based on risk management. In addition, students will learn how to establish appropriate compensation and reimbursement relationships by setting the compensation and exemption range of car insurance by type of collateral goods and how to improve their practical skills through actual practice.
Sports Management This class teaches the research methods of sports management, sports media video, understanding of sports marketing, social system & ethics of sports, sports media & ideology, etc. and aims to understand the values of sports that do have much effect on the modern society. In addition, students will learn a systematic and practical operating method of a sports center and sports organization..
On-site Training 2 In conjunction with field training 1, this class aims to increase the workability at the sports field by visiting various sports organizations and understanding characteristics of the related work.
Practical Major Course 4 In conjunction with practical major course 3, this class aims to cultivate professional and practical teaching skills by mastering the skills and characteristics of the field work.
